A SaaS architect with deep technical knowledge and experience, Greg Ebert has led software engineering teams at Fortune 500 companies and start-ups alike during more than twenty years in the software industry. As Convercent’s Vice President of Engineering, Greg masterminds the creation and implementation of the firm’s software in close
collaboration with the Chief Product Officer.
Greg previously worked as Director of Development for Rivet Software, where he led development of the company’s financial reporting solution software. Greg was also responsible for secure engineering of Rivet’s software to ensure information security, a critical need given the firm’s high volume of SEC filings. Prior to Rivet, Greg worked as a Professional Architect for Fujitsu Consulting and Peak 8 Solutions, and was a Senior Software Engineer for SAP, SAIC, Lehman Brothers and Guardian Life Insurance Corporation.
Greg’s personal life mirrors his professional life: He doesn’t do anything small. With interests in robotics, artificial intelligence, semantics and the future of technology, Greg has built his own robots and is writing a sci-fi trilogy. Greg is also certified in welding, enjoys motorcycle riding, and dreams of one day living on a boat. Greg is U.S. Air Force veteran and honor graduate of the USAF tech school.
