Greg is an expert technologist, software developer and financial technology leader. He is the Co-Founder of the Anthemis Foundry, a venture enterprise designed to invest in and create high growth, digitally native financial technology companies.
Prior to joining Anthemis, Greg was the Chief Technology Officer for Xenapto, an integrated
investment management tool for entrepreneurs and investors. He has previously held senior roles at some of the largest banks and financial institutions including overseeing Global Markets Technology for HSBC and Barclays, Derivatives and Fixed Income technology globally for Credit Suisse, and risk engine technology in the Quantitative Analytics group at RBS. Greg started his career as a software developer, writing an Expert System Shell for a start-up in the 1980s. He holds a Masters in Physics from Oxford University.
A qualified massage therapist, a keen jazz fan and an enthusiastic driver. Greg lives in East London, in an environmentally sensitive house designed by his architect wife.
