Mr. Grant B. Murdoch, M Com (Hons), FAICD, FICAA is a Partner of Ernst & Young. Mr. Murdoch serves as a Divisional Director of Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services Limited in Queensland. Mr. Murdoch serves as chairman of the Endeavour Foundation and a member of the Commercial Committee of the Mater Medical Research Institute.
He
has more than 35 years of chartered accountancy experience, specialising in mergers, acquisitions, takeovers, corporate restructures and share issues. Mr. Murdoch has extensive experience in providing advice in relation to mergers, acquisitions, takeovers, corporate restructures, share issues, pre-acquisition pricing due diligence advice, expert reports for capital raisings and IPO's including providing assistance with negotiations.
Mr. Murdoch has been a Independent Non-Executive Director of Campbell Brothers Ltd., since September 1, 2011. He has been Non-Executive Director of Cardno Limited since January 1, 2013. Mr. Murdoch is an Independent Non-Executive Director of ALS Limited, an ASX listed company with a market capitalisation around $3.3 billion, and QIC, a leading provider of investment solutions. He is Senator of the University of Queensland. Mr. Murdoch is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia.
He has a Master of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and is a Graduate of the Kellogg Advanced Executive Program at the North Western University, Chicago, USA.
