Grant was named Chairman and CEO of SPYRUS in late 2018. He is a seasoned senior executive and serial CEO with nearly 30 years of operating experience. He has served as Chairman and CEO of multiple public and private companies on a global basis.
Prior to joining SPYRUS, Grant was the CEO of NetFortris—a nationwide Unified Communications
Networking company where he remains active as a board member. Prior to NetFortris, he was Chairman and CEO of ActivIdentity, a NASDAQ listed company. He is recognized for turning around the company, which was subsequentially acquired by HID for a 300% stock appreciation. Grant also served previously as the CEO of Ventraq, the CEO of A4Vision, and was a founder of Identicator Technology.
Grant also serves and has served on a number of boards including NetFortris, 3VR, Inc; a Kliener Perkins portfolio company, Bioscrypt, Inc a publicly traded Toronto Exchange company, and Bell ID.
Grant is a notable industry leader and has received wide acknowledgement of his contribution to the security industry. He serves and has served on multiple industry boards that have included Congressman Honda’s Blue Ribbon Security Board for Homeland Security, American Electronics Executive Advisory Committee, Comdex Advisory Board on Security, Pearl Street Ventures Advisory Board and TCSV-Trans Global Secure Communications Board.
