Grace Park brings with her more than 17 years of leadership experience, nearly 10 of which were spent in international healthcare when she led large-scale teams of distributors and direct-to-doctor, pan-Asian sales force for Fortune 500 companies.
She has held leadership positions at Medtronic, most recently as the Managing Director for its
ASEAN operations, helping the company expand its footprint for its medical technology in these markets. Over the years, she has also worked in companies such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, a global biopharmaceutical company to market its innovative medicines in the U.S. and the Asia-Pacific region.
An active philanthropist, Grace believes in contributing to charitable causes and had raised significant donations by running 250 kilometres across the Gobi Desert to benefit children’s heart surgery in Vietnam and China; climbed Mount Fuji during the winter to donate funds to children’s diabetes research in Australia; and she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to raise monies for the Make A Wish Foundation in Singapore. She also conducted motivational speeches at schools and at women’s groups.
Grace arrived in Singapore ten years ago as a Fulbright Fellow and holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and an MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. Formerly, she was a Captain in the United States Army and had served at the Pentagon after graduating with honors from West Point, the United States Military Academy.
More details on Grace can be found in the book, "More than 85 Broads," by Janet Hanson, which highlights women role models.
