Goran Andersson has over 30 years of experience in the international music, marketing, media and entertainment business and is TM Agency’s music technology consultant for music industry and Brazilian markets.
Goran began his career as a partner with the leading Swedish independent label Silence Records. He also produced, movies and two
television shows with Robert Broberg for his own production company.
When Andersson relocated to New York from Sweden in 1983, he co-founded BLACKMARKET Records label, the pioneering label for dance-oriented world music, and subsequently one of his productions, “Highlife” by Sonny Okosuns, was featured in Jonathan Demme’s movie, “Something Wild”.
He has produced over 100 albums, launched the first MTV style television show for Russian network TV, and has negotiated licensing agreements as an international consultant for all major record companies and leading independent companies.
These days, Goran is based in the UK and Brazil and mostly focuses on bringing Brazilian technology start-ups to the UK. Two of his most recent projects are Kollector an information system that provides real-time statistics about radio broadcasting and online distribution worldwide, and TuneRights is a real-time stock market for music copyrights.
