Goli Ameri, CEO of StartItUp is a seasoned executive with international, technology and public policy experience. She received her Masters & Bachelors degrees from Stanford University and has studied at the Sorbonne in Paris. Previously she launched eTinium, a boutique consulting and market research firm in the telecom industry serving startups
and Fortune 500 companies. During her tenure in the US Government, as Assistant Secretary of State, Goli was responsible for the second largest bureau at the State Department with a budget of $600 million and 400+ employees. As the Under Secretary for Humanitarian Diplomacy at the International Federation of Red Cross Societies (IFRC), she established the IFRC for the first time as a global humanitarian actor and spokesperson at all major international organizations such as the UN, the EU, ASEAN & the African Union and built partnerships with International Olympic Committee, the World Economic Forum and donors such as the Asian Development Bank.
