Glenn Kline has more than 30 years of experience in venture capital investing, fund management, technology commercialization and working with high technology growth companies.
He is currently the founder and CEO of 360ip, Managing Partner of TPTF, Chairman of Rey, Chairman of Prixa and a Director at Kata.ai.
The Trans-Pacific Technology Fund
(TPTF) is a technology-driven venture capital fund, focusing on, but limited to, health/life sciences, ICT, IOT, robotics/automation and other high growth technologies. TPTF has a multi-stage investment strategy to work with companies ranging from early to expansion/late stage. Through TPTF's extensive network of collaborative partners around the world, TPTF has a global investment scope, seeking to invest in companies across Asia, North America and Europe.
Prior to founding 360ip, Mr. Kline was a General Partner at BV/IVP. He also served as managing partner at Academy Funds (“Academy”), an early-stage venture-capital firm that he co-founded to focus on commercializing and spinning out technology from major research institutions.
During his tenure with BV/IVP and Academy, Mr. Kline led investments in approximately 30 portfolio companies, which included start-ups in the areas of advanced materials, cleantech, information technology, life sciences and semiconductors.
Mr. Kline holds an MBA in finance from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA in Los Angeles, CA, and a BA in international relations from Pomona College in Claremont, CA. He also completed coursework at Sophia University, while living in Tokyo, Japan.
