Gideon has worked in the tech industry since 1988. In addition to management positions at Oracle and Cisco, he has held President/CEO positions at four companies and served in an executive director capacity on the boards of seven others. From 2007-2010 Gideon was a managing director at Patriarch Partners, a multi-billion dollar private equity
fund. Gideon’s business experience encompasses a broad range of markets, geographies and company size, and touches all phases of the technology company cycle: startup, recruit management teams, develop and implement new technologies and markets, raise funds, acquire/invest, day-to-day operations (including turnarounds), and exit. Gideon has bachelor degrees in both Computer Science and English Literature from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
