German Borisovich Khan is a Ukrainian-Russian entrepreneur, born on October 24, 1961 in Kiev. He grew up in a Ukrainian Jewish family. Khan graduated with honors from the Industrial Pedagogical Technical College,
specializing in "Production and Technology". Immediately after that, he started working at the Kiev Experimental Plant of Non-Standard Equipment.
After completing the technical college, Khan decided to continue his education at the Moscow State Institute of Steel and Alloys, specializing in the Casting of Ferrous Metals. After graduating from the institute, Khan began his career at the "Kosmos" cooperative, which was involved in wholesale trade of clothing, footwear, and jewelry. However, in 1989, he decided to start his own business - the "Alexandrina" cooperative, specializing in clothing manufacturing.
In 1990, Khan received an invitation to join the company "Alpha-Eco," a part of the "Alpha Group." For two years, he held the position of Head of Wholesale Sales. As the business expanded, he progressed through various managerial positions, including Executive Director and Member of the Board of Directors of the "Alpha Group."
In 1997, when the "Alpha Group" acquired the Tyumen Oil Company, Khan was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of that company.
From 2003 to 2013, Mr. Khan served as Executive Director and member of the Management Board of TNK-BP Management. Currently, Mr. Khan holds various positions at Alfa Group Consortium including a member of the Supervisory Board of Alfa Group Consortium. Mr. Khan graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys. Mr. Khan is known as active supporter of Jewish initiatives worldwide. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG.

He is also one of the most renowned Russian billionaires.
