Gerardo Chowell is a newly appointed 2CI associate professor of Mathematical Epidemiology in the division of Epidemiology & Biostatistics in the School of Public Health.
Dr. Chowell was previously an associate professor in the School of Human Evolution and Social Change, with affiliations in the Mathematical and Computational Modeling
Sciences Center, the Center for Global Health, and the Center for Population Dynamics.
He has served on the Executive Board of the ASU-Chapter of the Sigma Xi Research Society and holds an external affiliation as a Research Associate at the Division of International Epidemiology and Population Studies at the Fogarty International Center, National Institutes of Health.
