Mr. McCaughey is portfolio advisor to Leaf and serves as a Director on the board of Maxwest and Johnstown Renewable Energy (JRE). He also serves as CEO of Infineco providing executive-level strategy consulting to U.S. businesses developing and funding emerging green technologies related to both sustainable building and clean energy. Leveraging his
experience in Europe, he advises companies on business, marketing and operational strategies that reduce their risk and conserve capital, while positioning them to take advantage of the fundamental shift toward a sustainable future.
Prior to founding Infineco, Mr. McCaughey was the Founder and Chief Executive of Century Homes in Ireland, and later named Chief Executive of Kingspan Century following the $100 million acquisition of Century by the European building materials giant Kingspan Group Plc. By focusing on sustainability and automating construction, Mr. McCaughey led Century from four employees into one of Europe’s largest producers of off-site wood-frame buildings and oversaw development of one of the world’s first net-zero energy houses. Mr. McCaughey is one of the pioneers in the greening of the built environment and named “Industry Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2003 by Ernst & Young.
