Gerald Hanweck is the Vice President of Technology at Cboe Global Markets.
For over 20 years, Gerald A. Hanweck, Jr., past CEO and founder of Hanweck, has been at the forefront of derivatives research, strategy and technology innovation. Prior to Hanweck, he spent ten years with JPMorgan, where he served as Chief Equity Derivatives Strategist and
led the bank's U.S. Fixed-Income Derivatives Strategy team. Earlier in his career, he worked as a derivatives researcher at Discount Corporation of New York Futures, and as a software developer at Microsoft.
A frequent industry speaker, Mr. Hanweck has also taught master's-level business courses at Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago, in addition to dozens of seminars on financial derivatives. Mr. Hanweck holds a PhD in managerial economics and decision science from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University, and an AB in mathematics from Princeton University.
