Gerald was born in 1972 and holds an engineers degree in telecommunications. He founded public.webwatch in 2000, an Internet Monitoring Service for business customers, which is still the market leader in Austria.
In 2003 Gerald
started mediadoc, another monitoring company with a focus on broadcast media and Austrian newspapers. 2009 Gerald successfully sold both companies to a competitor. 2010, Gerald co-founded a social media consulting company: Digital Affairs (http://digitalaffairs.at) which focuses on strategic communications consulting in the field of social media.
