For more than 35 years Mr. Dalton served in a senior executive capacity and as an entrepreneur in the information technology and financial industry. As a founder, Chairman and CEO of Fiserv, Inc., Mr. Dalton grew the company from its foundation as a regional provider with $14 million in revenues into a worldwide organization by identifying,
acquiring and assimilating over 90 companies during his sixteen-year tenure. Today, Fiserv is a $4.7 billion enterprise with 16,000 clients in more than 60 countries supported by over 20,000 employees.
Upon retirement in March of 2000, Mr. Dalton went on to form NOVO 1 where he continued his entrepreneurial flair. With a high profile who’s who list of private investors and an experienced management team, this innovative, new direct marketing services firm has grown from start-up through 15 acquisitions to employ over 2,000 people and generate annualized revenues of approximately $70 million. NOVO 1 operations include specialized call-centers nationwide delivering customer care and acquisition services to over 400 clients that include new business start-ups to Fortune 500 companies primarily in the financial, telecom, healthcare, technology, professional services, and other growth industries.
Mr. Dalton has been recognized with numerous awards for his business leadership: the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year Awardâ€; the Financial World “CEO of the Year Awardâ€; and, the Harvard Business School Club of Wisconsin, The Milwaukee Journal “Wisconsin Leader of the Year Award†and the Small Business Times BRAVO! “Lifetime Entrepreneur Award.â€
Mr. Dalton serves as the 2009 Honorary Chairman of the Vince Lombardi Charitable Funds, a Director of the Milwaukee School of Engineering, Pier Wisconsin, The Waukesha County Action Network, United Way, the Wisconsin Humane Society and Wisconsin Wireless, all of Greater Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
