George joined NVT Group as Group Finance Director full time in May 2016. For eleven years prior to that he provided accounting services to NVT Group on a part time and ad hoc basis as a consultant.
George trained in the profession, becoming a partner in Macharg Hourston Macfarlane in 1993. The firm merged with two others to become French Jarvie
Macharg later in that year. In 1996, he was enticed into industry by the firm’s largest client, the Castleview Group. George would spend seven years with Castleview Group before setting up his consultancy business, specialising in accounting systems and projects. George brings a wealth of accounting knowledge and experience to NVT Group, which facilitates the development of back office systems and processes.
