After obtaining his degree in Business Administration, George began a career in Accounting and Finance. His early experience focused on Oil and Gas production accounting for Texaco, Inc. After four years, he moved to PPG Industries, Inc. and held key management and executive positions over a 35 year career with this Fortune 100 corporation. In
addition to management of many day-to-day general and cost accounting functions his scope of responsibilities included development and review of business financial plans and strategies, development and implementation of systems for financial and operational control, and participation in due diligence and integration activities for several major acquisitions. These responsibilities were global in scope and required frequent interaction with key management personnel at all levels.
Currently, his daily activities are monitored and controlled by his best pal Ernie, an orange tabby of Maine Coon ancestry.
