Georg List is responsible for corporate strategy development at AVL List GmbH across three strategic business units as well as group M&A activities.
AVL is the world's largest privately owned company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains (hybrid, combustion engines, transmission, electric drive, batteries and

Georg List holds a Master of Science degree (Dipl. Ing.) in mechanical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zürich, Switzerland and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining AVL, Georg List was partner at Booz & Company (previously Booz Allen Hamilton). In the 16 years there, he specialized in innovation management across automotive, aerospace and renewables, and led the European Innovation Group. Before Booz & Company, he worked with Société Générale de Surveillance S.A. in Europe and Asia. During his studies he worked with Mazda Motor Corp.’s Technical Research Center in Hiroshima, Japan.
