Geoff Penney is the Vice President, Business Development at InCrowd. He attended Ohio University.
Geoff has always considered himself blessed to have found early in his career something he loved to: market research analytics.
He quickly transitioned to sales where he enjoyed the teamwork and collaboration with clients, applying that passion
for research to answer business questions. Even his education in the social sciences (human motivation and social interaction) provided a natural transition to exploring in pharmaceuticals and other industries what motivates key stakeholders, what influences their decision making and how that information can best be explored and used to his clients’ benefit.
Geoff has had the privilege of working with dozens of new product, M&A and in-line brand teams as part of large global market research companies as well as smaller VC-funded start-ups.
Throughout his career he has experienced first hand client’s frustration with the lack of truly on-demand access to their key stakeholders attitudes and opinions when answers were critical.
When Geoff first heard about InCrowd’s technology offering, he jumped at the chance to be a part of this very special company that addresses this lingering unmet need in the pharmaceutical market research space.
Geoff and his wife along with their two boys pursue their passion for travel with everything from visits to the UK to see family to exploring our spectacular national park system.
Geoff has a B.A. in Sociology from Ohio University, with post-graduate work in Statistics, Market Research Design and Analytics.
