Geoff has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector successfully managing the planning and development aspects of renewable and thermal power generation and transmission projects in Canada, South America, South-East Asia, and Africa.
He co-founded BluEarth in 2010. As EVP, Project Development & Construction, Geoff is responsible for
overseeing the development of renewable energy projects through to commercial operation.
Prior to his role at BluEarth, Geoff held several leadership roles at Canadian Hydro Developers and was a key team member for several of the company’s acquisitions. In total, Geoff has been involved with the development of more than 3,600 MW of installed and 2,000 MW of planned electricity capacity.
Geoff holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Science from the University of Guelph.
