Geoff Baker’s background is publishing and finance. After training as a CIMA accountant and becoming Financial Controller of Dutch media giant VNU’s UK publishing company in 1997, Geoff spent 4 years coordinating mergers and acquisitions for the European Publishing Division. Geoff returned to the UK team in 2001 as Publishing Director responsible
for 5 magazines and charged with overseeing the company’s transition from magazine publisher to multi media player. Geoff was then placed in charge of a global business unit of research company ACNielsen after it was acquired by VNU. After a 2 year stint as CEO of a privately backed venture, Geoff decided to launch his own company, ICN.
