Gena is responsible for the Human Resources mandate at Sentry. In addition to overseeing Sentry’s HR-related policies and programs, she is responsible for implementing strategies that attract, motivate and retain talent, and help shape Sentry’s corporate culture.
Gena joined Sentry in 2012, bringing a wealth of experience in Human Resources,
particularly in the areas of strategic planning and organizational development. Prior to joining Sentry, she worked in a series of management level roles within the financial services industry and a public sector crown agency.
Gena received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Toronto and an executive master’s degree in Human Resources Management (MHRM) from The School of Human Resource Management at York University. She also holds the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation through the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA).
