Gary Otake joined Xtera in 2004 and serves as the Senior Vice President of Global Sales. Gary leads the global sales team with responsibilities for customer relationships and sales worldwide. Gary has more than 25 years of experience working in International Business.
Prior to Xtera, Gary served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales for
Extreme Devices and as Vice President of Sales (Japan Region) for Photon Dynamics (now part of Orbotech). Gary also worked for Raychem, a $2.0 billion, multi-national materials science company, as Regional Account Executive.
Prior to Raychem, Gary spent 14+ years with ESI where he held positions of Senior Account Manager, Director of Business Development as well as management and engineering positions for the Semiconductor Products Division, their most successful division with over 90% market share worldwide.
