Gary began working on Outside Interactive with extensive research in September 2010 after experiencing the frustration of training for the Boston Marathon on his treadmill due to New England’s harsh winter conditions. Prior to founding Outside Interactive, Gary coached high school track and cross country as well as founding, bootstrapping,
building and selling two successful multi-million dollar organizations over two decades.
