Gary Keating joined HiberGene Diagnostics as chief technology officer in October 2014. He has 15 years of technical and management experience in the in-vitro diagnostics industry, with a strong record in the planning and delivery of new product development projects and complex technology transfer.
Prior to joining HiberGene, Gary served as
R&D manager and subsequently molecular technology manager, at DiaSorin Ireland where he was instrumental in the development and 2012 launch of DiaSorin’s Liaison Iam molecular diagnostic system and infectious disease assays.
Gary earned his diploma in industrial studies at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown and completed his Ph.D. focused on the design of novel biosensor-based immunoassay at Dublin City University.
