Gary leads DLR Group's K-12 and Higher Education practices in Northern California. He is passionate about two things: relationships and education. Gary's passion for education also extends to teaching. He has served as an adjunct professor of architecture at Modesto Junior College for more than 15 years.
For more than 30 years, Gary
has worked with clients to design educational spaces that make a lasting difference in students' lives. An accomplished architect and project manager, he understands the unique facility and budget issues public school districts face and works with design teams to develop innovative solutions to those challenges. He also is an active proponent of the architecture profession, and has held numerous AIA leadership positions at local and regional levels, including President of the AIA Sierra Valley chapter and Director of the AIA California Council.
