Gareth Cokell is the co-founder and CTO of Nexco, the intelligence layer for executive search. He has more than twenty years of software engineering and technology leadership experience. Gareth was the founding engineer and later Chief Technology Officer at Nurole, the technology platform for non-executive director recruitment, where he built the
platform solo for the first five years and scaled it to GBP 6M revenue and 75,000 active users. Earlier he was fractional CTO at Datum360 ahead of its PE-backed exit to Autodesk, and tech lead on the Radio Times rewrite ahead of the BBC magazines sale. He also advises BGF portfolio businesses and sits as non-executive CTO at another early-stage AI company. Gareth co-founded Nexco in 2024 with Charlotte Gandell.
