Galen Williams is an accomplished entrepreneur with startup experience as founder, co-founder, CEO, search fund partner, and investment advisor. Galen recently completed a Deep Tech startup studio Entrepreneurship-in-Residency at Venture Partners, University of Colorado-Boulder, where he cofounded WHISPER Energy. Galen also cofounded Chicago's
first formal angel investment network, Hyde Park Angels, which partnered with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he served as their first Executive Director. Additionally, he cofounded Chicago's first licensed Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) facility, where he served as CEO and successfully raised angel funding. Galen is also the former CEO of a startup that raised $25M for USA operations based on Israeli IP. As a California-based search fund partner, Galen's expertise extends to mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and strategic partnerships.
Galen holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from DePaul University in Chicago, IL.
