Prior to co-founding Fidelis, Gad headed for five years the UBS Wealth Management office in Israel. He worked the previous seven years in London as a senior institutional salesperson for both UBS Investment Bank and Robert Fleming Securities, covering large UK and European clients on emerging markets equities. Between 1995 and 1998 Gad set up and
headed the International and Brokerage Departments at Ilanot-Batucha, one of Israel's leading investment houses. He started his financial career on Wall Street as a fixed income (cash and derivatives) trader for Bankers Trust. Before moving to the US, Gad worked for three years at Intel’s R&D Center in Haifa as a software development Engineer. He is currently a member of Menora Insurance Investment Committee, which overseas $17bn of institutional assets, including Israel’s largest pension plan.
Gad earned a BSc Cum Laude in Computer Engineering in 1988 from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) and an MBA in 1992 from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. He is married with three children and lives in Tel Aviv.
