Funmi graduated with a Bachelors’ Degree in Agriculture (Plant Science) from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. She has a Masters’ degree in Global Human Resources from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom, and a Doctorate degree in Organizational and Human Development from the Atlantic International University, Hawaii USA.

Human Resource and Organizational development practitioner, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consulting (FIMC), a full member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (MCIPM) and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, USA. Funmi has extensive work experience in different sectors across Pharmaceutical, Charity, Accounting, Information, Communication and Technology, and development sector. Having worked in different sectors, her track record has proven prowess for facilitating organizational effectiveness.
She is presently the Managing Partner for FTI Consulting Nigeria, former Director Organizational Effectiveness ActionAid Nigeria; and was the Human Resources Business Partner covering 9 countries in East and West Africa for ActionAid International. Her contributions to the development sector in people and organizational development is widely recognized and acclaimed in many nations of the world. Funmi sits on the Board of Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization as the Board Chairperson
