Frederick Munschauer is a physician scientist and pharmaceutical executive with broad US and Global Medical Affairs and Clinical Development experience. Dr. Munschauer received engineering degrees from Duke University and MIT before completing his medical degree at McGill University (Canada). His post graduate training included internal medicine
and neurology residencies at Johns Hopkins, and a fellowship at the National Hospital for Nervous Disease, Queen Square. He served as the Irvin and Rosemary Smith Professor and Chair, Department of Neurology University of New York, Buffalo and Chief of the Jacobs Neurological Institute. After a 25-year academic career, he joined the pharmaceutical industry and has held leadership roles including Global Head Medical Affairs at Biogen, VP US Medical Affairs at EMD Serono, and most recently as CMO of Marathon Pharmaceuticals.
Dr. Munschauer joined MedDay in 2018.
