As a business school graduate with a degree in chartered accounting, Frédéric Granotier started his career in audit and consulting activities for the Ernst & Young firm, in France and in the US (1991-2000). In January 2000, he joined Selftrade, the first French online stockbroker, as its CFO and then its General Manager. Then, together with
Charles Beigbeder in January 2002, he co-founded Poweo, the first independent gas and electricity utility in France, and co-managed the company until September 2009. In 2008, he founded Lucibel, of which he is the CEO. Frédéric Granotier is also a business angel and a member of the board of several companies, including Prêt d'Union, the first loan platform between individuals in France.
