Mr. Vago brings more than 30 years of government contracting and operations experience to Danya. Mr. Vago joined Danya in 2003 and serves as the President of the company. In this capacity, he is primarily responsible for daily operations. He meets with vice presidents and senior directors on a daily basis to discuss strategy, review performance,
solve problems, and ensure that all departments are working together to meet the goals and objectives of Danya's Strategic Business Plan. In addition, Mr. Vago has been integral in starting up and operating large contracts that Danya manages for Federal Government agencies. Previously, Mr. Vago spent almost 10 years with Birch & Davis Holding, Inc., where he began his employment as a Principal and worked his way up to President of the company. He is a retired Colonel of the U.S. Air Force. During his last assignment at the Pentagon, he served as (Acting) Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for the TRICARE program.
Mr. Vago holds master's degrees in Health Administration from Yale University and in Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
