Fred Chong, a Malaysian, is the founder and Group CEO of Prodigee Media and WebTVAsia. He is also an established songwriter, music producer and multi-genre creator. Since its founding in 2005, Fred has built Prodigee Media multi-platform business in film, TV and music production, as well as artiste and events management, leveraging on the
exponential rise of digital media worldwide for cross promotion and marketing. Armed with vast experience in digital marketing, he ventured into the Multi-Channel Network business by forming WebTVAsia in 2013. Fred earned personal accolades for his contribution to the entertainment industry, such as British Cultural Committee's Outstanding Music Producer of the Year 2008, International Effie Awards 2009 for curating Asia's first ever online concert, Asia Dragons Awards 2012 for Best Integrating Marketing Campaign, as well as National Film Development Corporation (FINAS)'s Malaysia Film Festival Special Achievement Award 2013. He is also active in charitable causes such as volunteering as music director and producer for the Singapore Cancer Society, and UNICEF. He loves writing songs, producing and traveling.
