Franklin Weldon is an Analyst at Fontinalis where he is responsible for a variety of different functions, such as supporting the investment team in researching, analyzing and evaluating investment opportunities, assisting and working with portfolio companies on various strategic and financial analyses, and aiding Fontinalis' operations and
business strategy.
Prior to joining Fontinalis, Franklin was an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) at J.P. Morgan in New York. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Franklin was a Private Wealth Management Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs where he helped with assessing and developing strategic asset allocations for high-net-worth clients.
Franklin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree (with distinction) from Morehouse College with a concentration in Economics. While at Morehouse College, Franklin helped charter the Pi Kappa Delta Forensics Association and was chapter treasurer. Franklin also was responsible for fundraising and was treasurer for the Morehouse and Spelman College chapter of Rotaract, a subsidiary of Rotary International.
