Frank Chiaro lives in Portland, Oregon, where he is professionally and personally passionate about environmentalism, water conservation, and preserving the beauty and wonder of the natural world. Throughout his entire life, Frank has found joy and peace in spending time in nature. In high school, he was a member of the Marine Biology and
LakeEcology Programs at an esteemed aquarium. In college, he was a member of the Pacific Discovery GAP Program, where he embarked with a group on a four-month-long service trip to Hawaii, focused on cultural understanding and environmental stewardship projects. Most recently, he completed a 5-week volunteer trip to Ecuador, where he had the opportunity to observe many of the world’s great plant life and animal life. He also learned a variety of helpful skills within environmental science, which included wildlife survey of monkeys, hiking to observe different forms of birds, and collecting leaves to study trees.
Frank is very proud of the planet and the universe in which we live. He has been inspired by various individuals like Neil Degrassi Tyson and publications such as National Geographic. He credits nature as the source of our most amazing and creative ideas. Frank firmly believes that our time on this Earth is an experience that we must make the most of, experiencing life through different lenses that make out personal stories unique to us.
Frank Chiaro has an immense passion for travel, our planet and art. He enjoys exploring the globe, making music and finding new beautiful things in nature to document.
