Franco joined Calyxia as the Chief Operating Officer in 2016.
He has over 25 years of executive management experience within fine chemicals, cosmetics and the life sciences. He has held the positions of Head of New Technologies in Medicinal Chemistry at Rhône-Poulenc Rorer (Sanofi), Advanced Research Chemistry Director and Process Development
Director at L’Oreal, Global R&D Director at Rhodia and Managing Director at Minasolve. Franco is also the author of more than 50 patents and publications. He holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the Université de Strasbourg and an Executive Master in “Strategy and Performance Management” from Université Paris Dauphine.
