Mr. Rocha has over 25 years experience in business operations, change management, IT and systems implementations, in addition to deep experience in the packaged goods industry. Mr. Rocha came to Spring from VALE, , a large mining company based in Rio de Janeiro, where he served as vice president of IT. At VALE, he was responsible for all of Latin
America’s IT operations and corporate center activity. He also was responsible for the development and implementation of information management and business integration strategies. Prior to joining VALE, Rocha worked for Unilever for 20 years serving in a range of technical positions, including regional architect, corporate auditor and business system analyst at offices in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Lima, Peru; and Mexico City, Mexico. He later became IT Director for three sub-regions (Mexico, Central America and Caribbean), managing IT for seven countries and more than 3,000 IT users. Mr Rocha holds a degree in production engineering from Escola Politecnica, Sao Paulo University, Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
