Feng Kuo is the CTO and cofounder of Techpoint. Dr. Kuo served as the Vice President of Engineering at Intersil Corporation after Intersil had acquired Techwell in in 2010 and served as CTO of Techwell from 1998 to 2010. From 1994 to 1996, Dr. Kuo was the VP of Engineering of Sigmax, a start-up company based in the Silicon Valley developing CD-ROM
controller chips. Sigmax was sold to Adaptec in 1996.
From 1991 to 1994, Dr. Kuo was a Product Manager at Seiko, where he designed a variety of analog and mixed signal semiconductors. Dr. Kuo started his career at Hypres, a superconductor IC Company. Dr. Kuo holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Taiwan National University and a M.S. and PhD from the Stony Brook University of New York.
