Prior to Onelife she was the co-founder and COO of SeneXta Therapeutics, a clinical stage company developing treatments for CNS disorders. She was also the founder and CEO of EP Pharma, a start-up biotech company developing novel small molecules for the treatment of leukemia and lymphoma. Previously, Dr. Pericle worked as a scientific advisor for Agennix, Inc. a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing protein-based drugs for oncology and was the Director of the Oncology Program at Valentis in Houston, TX. She has also worked as a Senior Scientist at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and has over 25 years of research experience in the fields of oncology, immunology, CNS, inflammation, antibody/protein drug development, and gene therapeutics. She has led the development of 10 product candidates into clinical trials for the treatment of cancer/CNS, published over 40 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored five patents in the field of cancer. She received her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Turin University in Italy and has a specialization in Immunology/Cancer Immunotherapy from the University of South Florida. She also holds an MBA from Texas A&M University.
