Farooq Alam is an experienced software development professional with 20 years of experience at software start-ups and fortune 500 companies. Farooq was a Vice-President Caminus Corp (Nasdaq:CAMZ) who witnessed its growth from 10 to 300+ employees and subsequent IPO (later acquired by SUNGARD in 2003).
His subsequent positions included Practice
manager for EMC2 Documentum, Management roles at IT Integrators and most recently as a Director at DeNA Co., Ltd where he established the Karachi operations of the Japanese Mobile Gaming giant, hiring over 60 software development professionals.
Farooq attended Reed College in Portland Oregon and like Steve, left without a degree! However Farooq did get his Bachelors and Masters in engineering from Columbia University, New York.
