Eva Solheim has 17 years of experience in sales, business development, and investments in energy, chemicals, materials and technology industries. Prior to co-founding Oceanshore, she was Trade Commissioner of Innovation Norway at the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in San Francisco . Her service to included business development and international
collaboration between Norwegian and U.S. scientists, technology entrepreneurs, corporations, and investors. Before her work with Innovation Norway, Eva was part of the founding team of Presidio Ventures Partners, the $150M venture capital arm of leading global trading company Sumitomo Corporation. Eva’s responsibilities at Presidio Venture Partners and Sumitomo Corporation included strategic and venture capital investments in privately held U.S. companies and venture capital funds, as well as business development for Sumitomo’s Japanese groups. Eva was instrumental in supporting the development of Presidio Venture Partners to become the best performing unit of Sumitomo Corporation globally.
