Ethan Liu met the founder of MyBloop at a new job Liu had begun in New York City. Fitim Blaku, the founder of MyBloop, showed Liu the site that he was solely working on during his spare time. Impressed with the idea of the site and what it could offer to the public, Liu first joined the team by working with Blaku and Eugene Kim on re-vamping the
core code and database architecture. His main project was developing a new file-browsing interface for the site: Bloop Explorer. Currently he works on improving and extending the Bloop Explorer's usability.
