Eric Rutberg is responsible for all technology and web application related research, design and development initiatives at Rockport. Mr. Rutberg oversees technology sourcing, vendor management and operations.
Since Mr. Rutberg joined Rockport in 2005, he has been instrumental in evolving the Rockport SaaS platform to meet the expansive needs of
the Commercial Real Estate Finance industry. He has been highly focused on delivering a solution that replaces traditional enterprise software and greatly diminishes financial institutions' support of internal technology.
Before joining Rockport, Mr. Rutberg was Director of Development at a leading New York based web development firm. During his time there, he oversaw the web development group and successfully delivered web-based applications to clients ranging from large corporate brand names (such as Kraft, McDonald's and NBC Universal), to mid-size financial analytics companies, to small boutique e-commerce shops.
Mr. Rutberg has a B.S. in Management with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Binghamton University and studied International Business at the University of Bath in England.
