Eric W. Neumann is Vice President and CFO for NextMedia Group, Inc. which operates 33 radio stations in seven markets and over 6,200 billboards in five markets.
Mr. Neumann has expertise in finance and operations, with 20 years of experience in the radio broadcasting and new media industries, specializing in acquisitions, IPO preparation,
capital structure planning, budgeting, key vendor negotiations, financial analysis and digital content distribution business strategies. Mr. Neumann has led the development of retail and online distribution platforms for music and other consumer entertainment as co-founder and principal of 2nd Wind Inc. and XACT Radio LLC, both located in Denver.
Previously, Mr. Neumann was senior vice president of strategic development for AMFM, Inc., once one of the nation’s largest broadcasters, where he developed an online audio strategy for 430 radio stations. He was also formerly the senior vice president of finance for Capstar Broadcasting Corp., and co-founder and chief financial officer of Chancellor Broadcasting, which was founded in 1993. Mr. Neumann helped guide Chancellor through unprecedented growth until its $5.6 billion merger with Evergreen Media in 1997, which created Chancellor Media, and eventually, through the result of subsequent mergers, Clear Channel Communications.
