Eric Morrison is a User Experience Research Lead with over 13 years of experience helping teams build technology that truly works for people. He has led research for some of the world’s most well-known companies, including Google, TikTok, and Disney, where he has focused on understanding how people use technology and how that understanding can
shape better products and experiences.
Eric’s strength lies in turning research findings into practical insights that guide product strategy and decision-making. He uses a mix of research methods such as surveys, interviews, and ethnographic studies to uncover what users really need and value. Right now, he leads research at Google on the future of AI in the workplace, exploring how artificial intelligence can support creativity, teamwork, and productivity in new and meaningful ways.
He earned his Master of Science in the Social Science of the Internet from the University of Oxford and his Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University. His work has been recognized with several academic honors, including the John Addison Porter Prize at Yale and the Oxford Internet Institute Prize.
What drives Eric is a mix of curiosity, systems thinking, and a strong belief that technology should make life better, not more complicated. He is passionate about creating products that help people connect, create, and collaborate.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys exploring new ideas, staying active, and finding inspiration in everyday life. He currently lives in New York City, where the fast pace and diversity of the city continue to fuel his curiosity about people and the ever-changing relationship between technology and society.
