Eric Dy, PhD is co-founder and CEO of Bloomlife, an award winning women’s health company solving the most significant yet underserved global challenges in maternal health. Eric brings unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges in emerging healthcare technologies informed by multidisciplinary technical expertise leading business
development for Europe’s leading R&D institute, IMEC. Eric has spearheaded strategic partnerships with companies spanning next gen sequencing, remote patient monitoring, machine vision, and mixed signal chip design leading to over $230M in revenue and a $2.8B acquisition.
Bloomlife has been recognized for its revolutionary vision and potential to impact lives globally, most recently receiving innovation awards and grants from Johnson & Johnson, Fast Company World Changing Ideas, Maternal and Child Health Bureau, CTIA, National Science Foundation, and the European Commission.
Eric is a MedTech Innovator Fellow and Rosenman Institute Fellow. He earned his BSc in Bioengineering from Cornell and his MSc and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from UCLA where he was the recipient of the Chancellors Graduate Fellowship. He is (co)-author of 17 scientific publication and 11 patents.
