Eric Dudley has been involved in Christian ministry for a period spanning over three decades. He has established himself as a transformative figure in the episcopal and Anglican traditions. Eric Dudley’s leadership encompasses preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and the oversight of large-scale church projects, reflecting a commitment to both
spiritual and organizational excellence.
Eric Dudley began his academic journey with a BA in Religion from Wofford College in 1981, followed by a master of divinity from Vanderbilt University in 1984. He further advanced his theological training with a master of sacred theology in homiletics and hermeneutics from Yale University in 1988.
Mr. Dudley’s most notable leadership achievement came as dean of St. Peter’s Anglican Cathedral, where he led a congregation through a significant transition from the Episcopal Church. Under his leadership, the congregation expanded from 750 to over 2,300 members, and the church budget grew from $300,000 to $3.5 million. In 2020, he became a rector at Christ Church. As rector, he performs oversight of staff members, volunteers, budget, and planning. He is also in charge of the finance committee and vestry work.
