Eric Barden is a 2002 graduate of Ferris State University with a B.S. in Surveying Engineering. Eric is a licensed land surveyor in Michigan and Georgia and is the principal in charge of the firm’s Geospatial Services division. Mr. Barden successfully led the firm into the mobile mapping market in 2013 as the first firm in North America to purchase

the Leica Pegasus Mobile mapping platform. With that came the expansion of services Nationwide, and a staffed surveying office in Atlanta Georgia. Today, Spicer Group’s Geospatial Services area is a nationally recognized leader in mobile mapping having competed thousands of miles of mobile mapping projects, with specific emphasis on highly accurate design grade mapping projects.
