Eric Alt is a Managing Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Hall Capital Partners LLC. He is also a member of the firm's Executive Committee and Investment Review Committee.
Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Eric Alt spent four years as a Managing Director in convertible securities at Piper Jaffray & Co. in San Francisco.
Previously, he worked for Robertson Stephens, most recently as a Managing Director in the convertible securities department. While at Piper Jaffray & Co. and Robertson Stephens, Eric Alt was involved in over 100 convertible new issue and restructuring transactions. Prior to joining Robertson Stephens in 1997, Eric Alt was a principal in an entrepreneurial venture and also worked at Kluge & Company, a private investment firm, where he focused on venture investments. He started his career in 1989 at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Dallas as a Certified Public Accountant in the firm's Real Estate Advisory group.
Eric Alt is a member of the Development Board of the University of Texas at Austin. He serves on the Board of Trustees and Investment Committee of the San Francisco Day School. He also serves on the Dignity Health Investment Committee. Eric Alt graduated summa cum laude from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. in Accounting and earned an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
